Payments, Subscriptions, and Cancellation

If you purchase a subscription or paid scan, you agree to pay all applicable fees and taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime through your account settings (or by contacting us), and your access will remain active until the end of the current billing period. If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend or terminate access to paid features until payment is successfully completed.

Refund Policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable, except where refunds are required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us and we will review the issue.

Results Disclaimer (No Guarantee / Not Proof)

VenomDetects provides probabilistic, informational results only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any detection result. Results should not be treated as proof of authenticity, identity, source, or intent, and are not a substitute for professional, legal, forensic, or investigative services. You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the results.

Recaptured Media Warning (Screenshots / Screen Photos)

Detection accuracy may be reduced if you upload screenshots, screen recordings, or photos taken of a screen, or if the media is heavily compressed, edited, resized, or re-shared across platforms. For best results, upload the original media file whenever possible.

User Content and Limited License

You retain ownership of the content you upload (“User Content”). By uploading User Content, you grant VenomDetects a limited, non-exclusive license to process and analyze that content solely to provide the Service and generate results for you. You represent that you have all necessary rights and permissions to upload and analyze your User Content.

Data Retention and Deletion

We may temporarily store uploaded files for processing and security purposes, then delete them within a reasonable time after analysis. We may retain limited metadata (such as timestamps, file type, usage counts, and transaction records) for billing, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and service improvement. Exact retention practices may be described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any law or third-party rights; (b) upload illegal or harmful content; (c) impersonate others; (d) commit fraud, scams, harassment, or defamation; (e) attempt to bypass limits, scrape the Service, reverse engineer, or abuse the platform; or (f) use results to harm others or mislead the public. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on third-party tools and detection providers. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or errors caused by third-party services, and detection capabilities may change over time as models and providers evolve.

Limitation of Liability (Cap)

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VenomDetects will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or reputation. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid to VenomDetects in the sixty (60) days before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless VenomDetects, its owners, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law.

Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
